The talentmap™ framework helps employers meet talent and skills needs by providing a simple single view of the education, employment & skills system. It can help employers and others work more effectively together to improve the competitiveness of UK business.

The UK Talent Map was first conceived in response to the challenges set out in the Leitch Report. In July 2008 the Talent Map concept and how it might look in use was endorsed by Gordon Brown and Ministers who subsequently agreed to support a next phase of development work.
