Using Social Media for Learning
The emergence of social media tools has changed the face of the Web, and it is now clear from the statistics that a huge number of people is using these tools in their daily lives – for working and learning as well as for pleasure. This workshop led by Jane Hart looks at how social media can be used to support learning and performance within an organisational context.

This will be a highly participative, interactive and social workshop which will include a number of individual and group activities based around the use of different social technologies. Participants will need to bring their laptops and be wifi-enabled in order to work online (some laptops will be available at the venue). They will also need to have set up a Twitter account (although will not need to have used it in advance of the session). Information on how to do this is here.
